Summer is over and it’s time to go back to school. I want to thank Lauren for spending her Summer Days with me, and Cate for joining us on occasion. Lauren was an excellent helper and I really enjoyed her company.
No lessons on Saturday, August 13th, we’re going to try and make it to the show in Lakeland (directions below). As you may know, Hurricane Dennis cancelled the show in July. The show starts at 5pm and Ms. Shelley and I will be riding in some of the classes. Please come and cheer us on.
I had some visitors in July from Barbados who were excellent riders and learned some new things. Thank you Paige and Kimberly for making my job so easy and I hope that you remember your “Masthead” next lesson you take.
I have also had a good friend of mine, and an excellent rider coming out over the summer to exercise Serena and Q for me. Congratulations Katy on getting accepted to St. Andrews in N.C. St. Andrews has an equestrian team that Katy will be riding on. They are getting a great and impressive student.
Photos!!! I am STILL looking for photos from the show or just from lessons. You can e-mail them to me or bring them and I will return them.
We were lucky to have Mouse stay with us. And Serena is still home. The lady that I would love to have her had unexpected surgery in July. Hopefully I’ll see her soon.
