Saddle Up Tack has settled into the new location. If you have not seen the new store, please stop by. The location is less than 5 minutes from the barn, across the street from the Post Office on Lithia-Pinecrest. Susan has done a great job giving the customer plenty to look at without being overwhelmed. Please stop by, 7818 Lithia-Pinecrest Rd. and tell Susan or Kathy that you ride with Ms. Kat and they will give you 10% off all your riding needs. Or call (813) 681-1600 for directions.
Showcase of Sale Horses, November 4th, 5th & 6th in Odessa. There will be no lessons that weekend. I’m taking Serena to this sale and bringing Katie home from NC to ride her. The concept is to bring all horses in Florida that are for sale to one location in a show environment, and the buyers can see the horses at once. Different rings will be open for riding. This is NOT an auction! No commission will be paid out.
Unfortunately, we will not be going to the Just A Bit show at Lake Park that weekend. Their next show is December 10th.
No lessons Friday Nov. 25th for Thanksgiving.
As most of you may already know, October 8th, Romulus came in with a scratched cornea on his left eye. Dr. Britt examined him, gave me some ointment, and told me 2 weeks. Well, his 2 weeks have come and gone and his eye is doing great.
www.horsefleet.com has been updated! Curtis has accepted a new position with a different company and his time is going to be more free to maintain the website. (Congratulations Curtis and good luck). I actually have more pictures from the May show; they need to be touched up. As for the Lake Park show, that is all that was taken that day. “We” forgot the camera at home…oops!
I would like to welcome
Alexis to HorseFleet Academy.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Avery this month. Oh yeah, and Ms. Kat >^..^<
